Easy Apple Smoothie (for weight loss, with protein)

This easy Apple Smoothie is delicious, nutritious, and so quick to make. It tastes just like an apple pie and is perfect for a quick breakfast or refreshing snack to give you an energy boost and help support your metabolism.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 apple red
  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk*
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder*
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 medjool date pitted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1-2 cups ice
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts (optional)
  • ¼ cup riced cauliflower (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to blender or food processor. Blend thoroughly. Enjoy!

Notes

*Any milk preference will work well for this recipe. To keep it low calorie, choose almond, coconut water, or water. 
* Any protein powder will work for this recipe. Vanilla flavored is recommended. 
*If you decide to include the optional ingredients (flaxseed, cauliflower), please note that you may need to add more milk and/or ice to get the consistency you desire.
